The oft-neglected Cabernet Franc grape gets the spotlight in this bottle, and it’s certainly worthy of a starring role. Solidly structured, it takes deep blackberry and cassis, proper subtle herb tones and cocoa from the opening credits to the final scene with ease. While it’s approachable now, I would give this some cellar time for full enjoyment. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
