V. Sattui Winery, Napa Valley (California) 2018

 There’s a story emerging from V. Sattui’s 2018 vintage, and the story is that you can’t go wrong with a purchase across the portfolio.  The hit parade continues with this bottle, where sweet oak spice deepens the mix of black, red and blue fruit, with cinnamon in particular dovetailed in beautifully.  I like this as a bright solo glass of red.  A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Monterey International Wine Competition.
