I am a fan of this style of Syrah. It was picked to ensure that the varietal characteristics of pepper, savory meaty notes, and tart cherry fruit would all be present, and then careful winemaking could soften the edges without obliterating those elements. Mission accomplished in the best possible way. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Monterey International Wine Competition.
