This Sierra Foothills beauty maintains just a hint of rustic charm that’s often associated with the region without trampling on solid Cabernet character. There is a fair amount of oak present, but it’s finely balanced against the black fruit, and everything presents in layered fashion from beginning to end. Rugged elegance? Yes indeed. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition.
