This is a brand new category, and if this wine is any indication, it’s set to rocket to the top of sales charts in short order. A dose of ten percent Pinot Noir tames Glera’s beery character and adds lovely strawberry, cherry and a ginger note to Glera’s citrus and mineral profile. I am guessing there is a lot of this out there, and that’s a good thing for the upcoming swelter season.
