This label is an experiment that’s happening in La Mancha with amphora aging. This Petit Verdot is quite correct on the nose, with firm structure and plenty of dark fruit character on the palate. At 15 bucks full retail, it’s a nice example with an interesting back story. Here’s to experimentation!
