2018 is being touted as a statewide winner of a vintage in California, and wines like this offer a good argument in support. It’s a bright mix of pineapple and peach with soft notes of vanilla and citrus zest adding opposite poles to the proceedings. Lively acidity carries it all through a zesty finish with full integration of flavors. Crisp and creamy is how I like Chardonnay, and this delivers the goods.
