This red, fruit-driven wine has a healthy dollop of oak spice that is just beginning to fold in. The herb and brown spice characteristics line up nicely with the fruit, not overwhelming but complementing, and the chalky tannin profile extends the finish. I continue to be impressed by this label. Contains 27% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot and 3% Zinfandel.
