Located near the south end of Skaha Lake and nearly two thousand feet above sea level, See Ya Later Ranch one of the highest elevation vineyards in the Okanagan Valley. The vineyard’s slope, proximity to the lake, warm days and cool evenings seem to bring out the best in cool climate varieties. As a result, plantings of Pinot Noir are on the increase in this micro-climate, and this wine supports the interest. Darker than the average Pinot, it is no lightweight. Cherry and forest floor earthiness come across in the aromas and the flavors are driven by black cherry, clove, and spice with light tannin. Supple in texture, and well-balanced, it will age well and should peak in 5 to 6 years.
