There has been a big push of late to get the dry red wines of Portugal into the hands of US consumers, and I would be surprised if it doesn’t take a solid foothold thanks to wines like this one. A blend of traditional port varieties, it’s loaded with black cherry fruit, moderate tannins and a bright finish that keeps the cheery cherry vibe flowing. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
