This Pinot Noir shows its provenance with what I like to call “Santa Rita Funk” – a damp earthy character that sets off ripe fruit nicely. There’s a fair amount of oak here that’s still integrating, but it should work out just fine with a few years in the bottle. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
