Gaja is an iconic fifth-generation winemaking dynasty that needs no introduction. While Gaja’s premier wines can fetch well over $500 per bottle, the Sito Moresco is a tremendous value at around $60. The Sito Moresco is an irresistible wine with enormous depth, merging Nebbiolo, Merlot, Barbera, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Layers of red currant, plum, cherry, saffron, tobacco, and leather fuel a long, opulent finish. This is firing on all cylinders today, but it will continue evolving for a few more years.
