You might describe this as “the softer side of Sauvignon Blanc,” and you and I would be in agreement. The nose is rather shy, showing soft white flowers and wet stone, and that leads to a gentle palate where subtle Meyer lemon, melon and stone mineral balance each other in a viscous midpalate. Things come on in the finish, where lemon zest and stone push into the distance. It’s quite stylized, and quite delightful.
