Another top quality exciting blend from the Magoni family. Longtime grape growers who began making wines in 2012, the experimental-minded family introduced this label in 2016. An equal blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet, this wine is not barrel aged. Each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel and the blend bottled within a year. Cabernet seems to contribute some flesh and Sangiovese the structure. In any case, the combination offers up plenty of bright, lively cherry and black fruit in a medium bodied presentation. Yet it comes across as elegant and multi-layered with hints of raspberry and herbal black tea notes. A smooth and vibrant all-purpose red.
