Full disclosure — I’m generally not a fan of Lambrusco, or fizzy red wine of any kind for that matter. This wine is changing my mind, and I’m always on the lookout for such beasts — those that spin tradition on its head and get my attention in a good way. This delivers on all counts, with classic varietal aromas, moderate fizz and solid berry character delivered in dry style. It’s quite satisfying. Yes, I’m having a second glass.
