Another excellent bottle of bubbles from Argyle. This one is composed of 100% Pinot Noir from an early picked block of the Pommard clone planted between 900 and 1000 feet of elevation. Winemaker Nate Klostermann opts for a fairly austere style here, showing tightly wound stony minerality, and zesty citrus aromas and flavors. It finishes long, with mineral and soft earthy notes popping up. A fine aperitif style now, you will want to hold some of this to see how it opens over time.
