Zinfandel icon Carol Shelton is always on the lookout for interesting new sites, and I’m always thankful when a new one crosses my path. This finds the perfect middle ground between serious claret style and fanciful forward fruit. The focus here is raspberry, fall spice and lively acidity that keeps the flavor coming. Carol gets a good amount of recognition, but I’ll say that still it is not enough. Brava! A Platinum Award winner at the 2022 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
