Here is a lusty Merlot for fans of oak spice. That said, it’s not overdone in any way, and the fruit is not only up to the task, but it was picked at a level that keeps a bright peppery note singing harmony. Throw in a nice price, and we’ve got another winner from winemaker Mike Sinor.
