Teroldego is a grape most noted in the vineyards of northern Italy. Vintners in the USA have been experimenting with grape in the limited amounts that are grown here. The Macchia “Tremendous” Teroldego indicates that this variety deserves more attention. This is a rich and complex red. Lovely aromas of blackberry, black cherry and black currant are enhanced by elements of violets, vanilla and herbs.
