Whenever I taste a Grenache from this region, I wonder why I don’t see more of it. This is a fine example, with delightful strawberry, white pepper and bay leaf aromas and flavors that come in waves over moderate oak toast that’s still folding in. Give this a good decanting, or age further in the cellar for full enjoyment.
