Since 1973, Sky Vineyards has produced small lot, hand-crafted Zinfandel and Syrah. Total production varies each year, usually between 800 and 1,000 cases. This Mount Veeder Zinfandel is not your typical overly jammy, high octane California Zinfandel. It offers a mesmerizing bouquet of red fruits, baking spices, and pepper. This perfectly represents the terroir with a lovely core of mountain berries, raspberry compote, blood orange, and pepper. The palate offers bright acidity, moderate tannins, an underlying minerality, and a complex finish with exceptional length.
