Opolo is best known for its Mountain Zinfandel, which can tend toward the bombastic (fans would say pleasantly so), but this wine shows that the team is just as capable of nuance as it is boldness. Rich vanilla props up bright Cabernet fruit elements of blackberry and currants, and notes of nutmeg and pepper add depth. Here’s to covering the spectrum. Contains 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Malbec, 10% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc.
