A portion of San Felice’s Il Grigio Chianti Classico Riserva was matured in Slavonian oak casks for 24 months and the rest of it in French barriques, followed by another 6 months in the bottle. The label represents Titian’s famous portrait, “Man in Armor,” who looks like he’s waiting patiently for another glass of Il Grigio to be poured. You will probably be anxious for another glass yourself once you taste this engaging red wine’s earthy flavors and well balanced acidity.
