There has been a lot of buzz about the 2021 vintage in California – particularly on the Central Coast – about low yields and extreme high quality. If this wine is any indication, run to make your purchases now. This couldn’t be any purer aromatically, and the palate follows suit, delivering the promised peach, honey and spice over clarion acidity and finishing with a pleasantly soft bitter herb note. Winemaker Chris Eberle is getting pretty good at this.
