The Musqué clone of Sauvignon Blanc displays tropical fruit notes that make it a totally different sort of animal than other clones. Here guava and passion fruit join the expected citrusy character, and some oak influence rounds off the acidity and adds depth and a dash of pepper to the fruit. There is some finish grip, and the wood comes forward a bit at the end. I would serve this with a green salad with some cheese in the mix.
