A solid, cool climate-styled example of Chardonnay that, though barrel fermented and full flavored, carries the kind of acidity to make everything work as a table companion. Apple, pear, soft oak toast and some zesty lemon show good energy, and each element pushes into a lengthy finish that begs another sip. This will make a great partner to saucy fish preps.
