Crisp and bright, this is a wine that deserves wider attention, with the bright feel of Riesling, the flavor profile of Gewurztraminer without the oily mouthfeel, and a long finish with just a hint of sweetness. They say that the new generation doesn’t care what the variety is as long as it tastes good, and I concur — though it’s nice to know after the fact for future reference.
