This is a subtle, well rounded Merlot that shows a bit tight at present, but one that will unwind nicely with a few years of rest. Cherry, pepper and moderate oak toast aromas and flavors are starting to peek through the structured acidity and tannin profile, and some crushed rock minerality adds depth. I would hold this until 2025 for openers. You won’t be disappointed. Contains 12% Cabernet Franc and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon.
