This isn’t a typical Paso Robles Cabernet. It is brilliant in color, with great clarity and brightness. Blackberry, currants, and a little pepper get a boost from some vanilla from the oak, and a dash of mace. The oak integration is still in process. I would decant this long now, or allow another year it the cellar for full enjoyment. Buckaloose is a new player in Paso Robles, and one to watch. Contains 5% Petite Sirah.
