WOW! This is a very expressive wine – no surprise considering the source – with spiced pear and quince aromas up front, backed by bright citrus and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, those elements translate perfectly over riveting acidity, and the citrus takes the lead in the long finish, with the pear and quince dancing underneath. Apparently sharing notes leads to exquisite winemaking, and no doubt the lessons of the masters have been well learned. Spectacular!
