Bocale’s Rosso is predominantly (70%) Sangiovese and is fresh and easy to drink with food. When compared to a Tuscan Rosso, this wine shows more earthy undertones from blending in Sagrantino, a local Montefalco red grape. I would recommend this wine to my Italian wine fans, especially those that trend towards Tuscany and are seeking to expand their profile.
