Pretty floral notes on the nose, with lively cherry, plum, pepper and zest joining in. The palate serves those elements up in a medium bodied texture that shows each layer clearly. Winemaker Peter Becraft notes that no new oak was used, with an eye on preserving fruit character and freshness. I’m happy to report that the mission was accomplished. Solid Cabernet Franc!
