“Licia" is short for Galicia, the region of Spain where Rias Baixas is located. When compared to other Rias Baixas wines, this Albariño is unusually complex. It enjoys the traditional saline and yellow apple notes but it also shows thyme and cream. The bracing acidity makes this an ideal wine with oysters and fish — both standard fare for the Galician region.
