Adam Carruth’s San Diego winery team has a knack for sourcing, as evidenced by this fine Cabernet. It’s nicely structured, with a healthy yet well folded oak spice character that supports the expected blackberry and black currant fruit. As the oak continues to fold in over time it will morph into an elegant example that represents its provenance perfectly. Beautifully realized wine!
