Weingut Muller, Wachau (Austria) Grüner Veltliner 2021

 Lively, juicy citrus, peach fruit flavors with floral, ginger accents make for a very charming wine.  It is also dry and crisp, so enjoy it with Vietnamese summer rolls, fried calamari or goat cheese.  The Muller family estate has been a winery since 1936.  Today the third and fourth generations are in charge.  They are very serious about sustainability, so when they built a new press house and winery they located it into a hillside allowing them to rely on gravity for moving grapes, grape must, or wine, rather than electric pumps.  All their efforts to conserve resources have been recognized with the Sustainable Austria seal from the Austrian Winegrowers’ Association.
