I like this wine a little more than I anticipated – not something that leaps out at you, but just a well-made, flavorful red. It had lean, well-structured and slightly tart cherry flavors, some surprising notes of dusty grains, some hints of red Vermouth though not quite volatile and well-integrated tannins.
