Taybeh Winery, established in 2013, builds on the success of the Taybeh Brewery, the first microbrewery in Palestine. Producing, exporting, and distributing wines from Palestine is complicated. Nonetheless, Palestinian wine offers great promise. The 2020 Nadim (named after founder Nadim Khoury) Sauvignon Blanc offers layers of green apple, tropical fruit, citrus, and crushed stones that rush out of the glass and race around your palate with ripe textures and vibrant energy. It ends with an utterly refreshing and lingering finish.
