Named for Gaia, the Greek goddess of the earth, Domaine Bousquet’s Red Blend differs from vintage to vintage depending upon the quantity and quality of that year’s grapes. For 2020, the blend is 50% Malbec 45% Syrah 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak. Better than it has to be and priced to be on every table, it is a lively, juicy wine with black cherry and blackberry, aromas and flavors. Equally at home with a pork roast or a juicy burger.
