MJA Vineyards Mendocino County Cabernet Sauvignon states unabashedly its significant alcohol content on the front label, but I’ll avoid disclosing it here as it will prejudice some tasters in a negative way — and that would be unfair in this case. There’s no evident heat on the nose or in the mouth, and solid varietal character shines brightly. Moral of the story? Taste, taste, taste!
