Brion, Yountville – Napa Valley (California) Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

 For the past 20 years, Brion Wise has been concentrating on making single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons, and this one draws attention to Sleeping Lady in the foothills on the west side of Yountville, a property that continues to grow in stature.  This wine displays sweet, concentrated, black fruit flavors with an engaging granular texture and dusty tannins that impart hints of mocha and baking spices.  The finish in very long and detailed for such a large wine, a wine which will continue to grow in complexity for the next several years.
