Bousquet is known for heralding the winery’s organic farming and for its affordable wines. The “Ameri” line is its premier label for its most expensive wines. This one, a blend of 60% Malbec and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, has delightful aromas of cassis, black fruits and oak. On the palette, it is rich and hardy – velvety, not silky – without being heavy and with flavors of cassis, blackberry and nutty tannins.
