It’s great that wineries are hitting the road again post pandemic, and it’s even better when they make a swing by my neighborhood, especially when it’s a winery that’s not yet on my radar. The first of four wines tasted was this serious and snazzy Rosé, a crisp and creamy mix of strawberry, rhubarb, bay leaf, soft pepper and citrus zest. Loaded with food-friendly acidity, it will pair beautifully with current weather and grilled (or fried if you can stand the heat) chicken.
