Solid varietal character, bold structure and layered aromas and flavors for thirteen bucks? And usually obtainable at a discount? I would say that is a lot to ask for, and Estancia manages to make it happen here. 2021 was a low-yielding but very even-ripening vintage that maintained popping acidity with full ripeness. I haven’t run into much from the vintage that I wouldn’t recommend, and the value represented here is worth hunting down.
