Argyle Winery, Eola-Amity Hills (Oregon) 2019

 Here is a true Blanc de Noirs — made with no white grapes in the blend — and it’s a very pretty one at that.  Delicate strawberry aromas are joined by notes of ruby grapefruit and pear, and the translate nicely on the palate on a creamy mousse that turns pushy in a  powerful finish where lively green apple fruit comes forward and hangs around pleasantly.  As usual, beautifully realized bubbly from Argyle.  Contain 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier.
