An unusual Malbec in that it served no time in oak, yet the rest of the methodology is traditional and comes from a single vineyard. The result is a pleasant, not-quite-feral pungent gaminess in aromas and a single-layer of flavors like a cake with blackberry batter. It is thus not a complex wine, yet one with a lovely flavor, texture and structure.
