Middle-level range of Rhône reds such as this, mainly southern blends, have to be among the most versatile table reds and also among the most satisfying. This is a rich one, with mulled, mellow dark fruits like mulberry and very ripe blackberries, but this generosity of fruit is well-balanced by good structure and adequate acidity to last through the finish.
