The 2019 Pinot Noir La Vida Bella Vineyard, from the Corralitos area, is Thomas Fogarty’s sole expression of the southern Santa Cruz Mountains. In the glass, alluring scents of black cherry, violets, blueberry, plum, cedar, and espresso dominate the bouquet. The palate is silky smooth, holding vivid flavors of bright cherries, blueberries, and dusty herbs. A mineral note echoes throughout and the impressive, long finish is marked with gently woven tannins and bursting acidity.
