An old reliable from Sonoma County that tastes more like Napa Valley – although not priced that way – Beringer’s Knights Valley Cabernet is very smooth with a creamy middle body of blackberry fruit, yet still pleasingly lean, and a hint of bacon in the finish with nice tannins. This would be a great house wine for weekend entertaining at an affordable price.
