The Insolia grape, also known as Inzolia, is a native to the island of Sicily, where it is getting increasing attention. The Caruso family owns 130 hectares of organically farmed property where winemaker Lorenzo Landi crafts this smooth-as-silk white wine with a pale yellow color. It shows aromas and flavors of citrus and green apple with saline notes, and is generous and full in the mouth. Enjoy it with fried calamari or grilled tuna.
