Looking for a refreshing wine at an affordable price for summer? Frescobaldi has the answer with this pale yellow Vermentino. This wine offers bright, fresh aromas and flavors of lemon, white peach, pear, and grapefruit, along with saline mineral notes and mouthwatering acidity. Tenuta dell’Ammiraglia is one of many estates owned by Frescobaldi. Apparently, much of the vineyard area’s broader landscape is covered with very large rocks, which are called living rocks, “Massi vivi” by the locals. As an aside, the Vermentino grape goes by many names, such as Favorita in Piemonte and Pigato in Liguria.
